Organizational chart

Four independent Business Units report to the holding Carraro SpA, which has the role of strategic policy-making, coordinating transversal business and providing support services. Each BU has a specific mission, with a different risk profile and targeted strategies.

In more detail, the areas covered are as follows:

• Carraro Drive Tech: drive systems for construction equipment, agricultural tractors, fork-lift trucks, light commercial vehicles, mining applications, automobiles and stationary applications (such as escalators and wind power generators).
• Gear World: gears and components - both in cut steel and sintered - for the automobile sector, for agricultural applications and construction, for material handling applications, for the gardening and powertools sectors and for wind power generators.
• Carraro Agritalia: specialised tractors (light utility, vineyard and orchard) up to 100 hp of power, made for third parties (under the Agco, John Deere and Claas brands); engineering and production outsourcing services for tractor market niches.
• Santerno: inverters for power electronics management applied to different industrial environments and renewable energies (photovoltaic and wind power); management systems for electric and hybrid powertrains.
